Just trying to find out if any modifications need to be made to fit that size tire under my LX. Finally got around to buying a full size spare for the factory 20” spare wheel. The circumference barely clears the rear bumper and rear panhard/sway bar but I feel like it’s hanging further down than it should. Maybe someone can confirm if this looks right or not. As far as I can tell it’s as high as it can go. Maybe it just seems low compared to the factory size since it’s a larger tire.

Looks fine. A larger tire is going to hang down a bit more but that's to be expected.

Seems about right. Perhaps you can get it another 3/8" up by shimming the hoist plate up along the frame rails with some washers on the angle brackets. There's a round bar coming off the hitch frame member that you can bend up a bit. And also a bracket you can remove on the frame rail nearest the panhard.

Here's what the same size tire looks like on mine. Though it's pushed down ~1" by an LRA aux tank. It's never caused a clearance issue. The bumper corners are more a problem.

Cool, looks like I’m good as is then. Thanks!

Hey @tys4x4, is there any chance you have more pics of that 275/65r20 to share?

275/65R20 stacked against a set of 35x12.5sR20s.
