These caught my curiosity the other day and I was wondering if anyone has any insight as to their effectiveness or if they are just another "snake oil" product?

At worst, the History section of the Fuel Cat site (in the Fuel Cat section) makes for an interesting read......

They sound too good to be true, and if they are what they claim to be, why aren't they in every auto parts store around the world, and why is there so little press on them?

Let him come stateside: this kind of garbage has been on the market for over 50 years here. Anyone with half a brain can figure out it can't work. But millions have been made on unsuspecting types.

Its not just Americans who get sucked in. Im constantly arguing against these snake oil salesman on aussie forums but people just cant help falling for the old "something for nothing"routine.
I suppose its like anti wrinkle cream or lotions to make your fat butt go away:D

The US federal trade commission also has a good debunking site

and this is why we post.... :D

thank you roscoFJ73 for the excellent links
Tinker, I'm glad to report that my childhood diet didn't consist of many paint chips and that the good half of my brain still works ;)....the  saturated half, well, that's still open to debate

very informative and confirmed my doubts and suspicion. times change but people don't and the "snake oil" is still a good sell.

btw, i'm selling lollipops that make you smarter if anyone's interested. there's one born every minute....
