I kind of like the stock wheels and running boards (I know that makes me weird) so I'll keep that for now.
Not weird at all. The stock wheels are stronger than ~99% of aftermarket wheels, and the running boards can be very useful if you have kids.

I've read some posts that say "if it ain't broke don't fix it”
Anyone who says this about a timing belt is an idiot. Change it every 90k miles, per Toyota’s service specs. You’re due, so do it.
