First step towards a 200.. (1 Viewer)

I'm planning on purchasing my first 200 within the next year and came across a deal to good to pass up on a set of rock warriors. Went and picked them up today.

It's my first real step in planning for the new cruiser. I'm excited. The last few months I've found myself reading the 200 section more then I do the 100 and 80 sections, both of which I have now!!

I'm leaning towards/planning to have an iron man foam cell pro lift, roof rack, and spc uppers when I pull the trigger on the cruiser. I know I've got a lot to learn, and my mind may change on lift and components, but I'm looking forward to sharing and getting advice from you guys as this year goes by.

Its gonna be lots of fun!!!

Were those the ones that showed up in the classified wheel tire section yesterday morning? I believe in north Georgia.

Yup, that's them. I found them on CL last week and drove up yesterday to get them. 10 hours of driving, but it was in a cruiser!

Haha, good stuff. I was about to call and see if I could get those, they would be an extra set for me (plans for a trailer). Glad you got them, someone that will use them now is better. I'm over in Savannah if you ever want to go wheeling.

Yeah, I'll have to try and get up there sometime. I seem to always be driving south! I spend almost every Sunday during the summer on the beach with the 80 at Amelia Island State Park and my few off days driving the trails at Osceola National Forest. Even when it's bone dry it's wet down there! I would love to explore some around the Savannah area though. I have never spent much time around the Ga/SC border/coast.

Oh I would wheel down there also given the choice. I went to high school and college in central Florida, all I did was find and drive beaches growing up.

Can't say I invested as much $$ in anticipation as you (I bought this), but I am also looking to buy a 200. In my case maybe as early as July or August. Hopefully by then will know if the '18 models are next gen or a minor tweak to the 16/17 models. If not much changes I will buy in the Jul/Aug timeframe; however, if there is a big change, will have to wait and see in person.

It's going to be a little while longer for me. I have 170k on my 100 now and have decided I will move to a 200 when I hit 180k. That will likely take the rest of this year.
It may sound crazy, but I won't sell it to someone before I do the 2nd timing belt at 180. I'll buy the parts and do the belt and water pump myself. There's no way I could sell knowing it needed that 2nd 90k service, and knowing it might not be done otherwise.
