Cruiser Gods,
My name is Jack and I am a long time MUD stalker, and figured I would introduce myself before I get in trouble and start begging for help. I grew up with Land Cruiser, my Dad had/has quite a few 40's which I claim as my own by birth right. They are amazing machines and probably the toughest trucks on the planet. But for me and my intended Cruiser application the 80 reigns supreme.
When I was growing up there was nothing on the road that could touch the all mighty 80 series. The 80 Series Land Cruiser is what I grew up loving and what I found my self wanting to drive. I believe that my generation of Land Cruiser enthusiast we see the 80 series in the same light as previous generations see the 40, 55 and 60 series Land Cruisers. My 1997 FZJ80 40th #644 has been under the knife for about 7 months in order to build a expedition style Cruiser. Looonnnng trips to the mountains, weekend camping, hunting, fishing, diving, surfing and just a truck to store all of my stuff in so when 5pm hits on Friday I am gone. Here are the goods on a few
