First Post - Toyota Regius 1KZ-TE (1 Viewer)

Probably in the wrong thread but it was the year that matches my van. I have a Toyota Regius van with the 1KZ-TE engine. My parents bought it about 16 years ago and had it as a company vehicle for a while, then I inherited it 2 years ago. It has 580,000km on the body. The original engine lost compression at about 560,000km, and i put a "fresh" engine from a wreck with 180,000km on it.
I have joined this site as i am interested in modding my vehicle. I have so far:

added fuel+timing variable resistors,
a zener diode on the boost sensor to stop the fuel cut out from >14psi boost,
turned the spill valve on the fuel pump up < quarter turn.

Looking to put in a boost tap or similar onto the wastegate line to up the boost now. Any advice on this or links to threads would be welcome.

I've got a boost tap setup that I'll never need. Send me a PM. IMO they're good for checking setups but you're better to adjust or change the wastegate actuator once you've got your target boost settled.
