Finding Month of Manufacturing from VIN# (1 Viewer)

Got a 1973 FJ40. It has a motor from 1976 and the thin metal sheet that would go on the inside of the driver's door is missing.

I have the VIN, and wondering if there is a VIN lookup somewhere that can tell me the month of manufacturing.

I went to SOR, but they did not have a way to look that up that I could find on their website.

Where can I decode my FJ40's VIN number?

I'm confused on mine, I supposedly bought a 67 fj40 but the VIN is FJ4045203. As near as I can tell by the chart it is a 1966?
