Hello everyone! I am a new owner of a 2000 LC. Great vehicle and always wanted one.

One thing I remember back when these things came out was the “gold package”. People used to pay extra for the gold emblems as I remembered my dad talking about it when he worked at a Toyota dealer.

I can’t find this anywhere on google. eBay does have offers but 85 dollars just for the words “Toyota” In gold? That doesn’t even include the land cruiser part. I’m guessing all in these emblems would run me 500 bucks for the all logos from eBay.

Now I know everyone is going to say it looks gaudy or blingy but honestly, the car is decades old. I love how the gold gives it the 2000 Y2K fancy look. It’s like buying a classic car and restoring the chrome. Part of the character.

For a whopping $90 total you can get all new OEM Toyota gold badges shipped to your door. Part numbers:
75442-60160
75443-60050
75441-60330
75471-60040
75445-60020

May want to double check those part numbers. I think they’re correct for the gold badges but I’ve also had a few beers and it’s late 🤪

You are a gentleman and a scholar sir. Thank you!

We used to do that at a dealership I worked for...like in this video. Wonder if they still do it as its very simple.

Looks like after a second look, those are the OEM standard color. I do not believe Toyota makes an OEM gold badge. It was a process done at dealers afterward.

I don’t think that’s true. All of the silver emblem part numbers are one number lower than the gold. For example, the back door TOYOTA emblem No.1 part number is 75441-60320, whereas the same emblem in gold is 75441-60330. I have mine in a box in the garage, after removing them some 16 years ago. Shipping and handling (cash for some adult 🍻beverages) and they’re yours.

Awesome! if they are in good condition, I’ll pay you 50 bucks for them.

They do make gold badges and it wasn't a process done at the dealer, the gold badges were not standard in the US, European or Australian markets, Gold badges were fitted more in the Middle Eastern and Asian markets.

Just have a dig around in the PartSouq website and you will find them, they are all available, even the hood ornament, if we do all the work for you you will never learn :)

Good Luck. 👍
