Ive been in love with Land Cruisers ever since I could remember. And finally at 18 my dad let me but my own! (only if I finish my Eagle boy scout rank which I did)
I bought a 1983 Fj60 with 63,xxx original miles! has been in Port Aransas for the last 5 years and there driven only 800 miles. It is bone stock and no one has modify it mechanically or electrically so there not messed up. Also the interior is spotless! No tears in the seats at all. Since being in Port Aransas it has only surface rust and only two bad spots, the inner lower tail gate and under the rear window. My plans is to lift it to where I can put s5's without cutting the fenders (if thats possible). Also taking care of all the surface rust and all the little things that are wrong. Like the A/C temp controller dosent go all the way to the right. I have a dead spot when i first accelerate.

Damn, that is clean! Super low miles and factory Hula girl...:steer:

Congrats on the truck and on the Eagle Scout rank!

Yes, you did get a nice ride, welcome. Nice color too (I have a white 83 myself). For being in Port A., it has very little rust. It looks nice and clean.

A few years back, I used to fish the jetties there quite a bit...

Saw this thing in person the other day. It's in really good shape. I think the interior is a 10 out of 10, look at that drivers seat! Engine ran smooth at idle and sounded great. The exhaust needs replacing too Ryan! I saw some pretty gnarly holes.

I'll be around and possibly helping you when I have the time off school. Can't wait to get it lifted and we can dominate the streets... and trails :hillbilly:

Congrats on your Eagle rank!
One of our new employees is a life scout. He wants to do his driver's training on one of our FJ40's, and then buy his own.

Congrats again!
Be Prepared!

Ryan told me it was repainted white. They did a good job, except they didn't do the firewall haha

It was Light Blue Metallic, same color as mine. Forgot the color code though :hillbilly:

Yes exactly what Kline said. It was originally light blue but a previous owner before the last repainted it and did a good job at it! Ill have to post some more pics of the interior. Right now im in the middle of putting new beats in the truck! WHOOHOO!
