I am on my fourth Toyota now ( 2 4Runners, and a 74 fj40)
I finally got the cruiser I really wanted, a 95 80 series with factory lockers. Picked it up for 3K. It only had 178K on it. In pretty good shape for the year. Runs great, leaks some oil and power steering, but I can take care of that in due time. Put some new tires on it,fixed the windshield and the shaky mirror ( to the guru that posted that fix, you are the man!!!). So I changed front and rear differential fluids and checked everything else out and decided to hit the road for a holiday vacation. Left Florida and headed to Ohio and Pennsylvania to see some old friends. As soon as I get home I am loosing the running boards and relocating the spare tire to the roof. One of the purposes of this trip was to show my daughter some snow, didn't get to see so real snow but she did get to go tubing at Perfect North Slopes in indiana. Not real snow but close enough. The other purpose of this trip is to do some wheeling, got to cruise some mild mountain roads in Tennessee but would really like to hit some cool trails on the way back home to Florida from Pennsylvania. Any ldeas?? It is still set up like a mall crawler, so nothing too extreme.
