I just wanted to say thank you to all of the contributing forum-members. I've been looking for a 60-series and thanks to the stickies, the advice on this forum, and all of the great resources her on IH8MUD, I've found her. I found a 1989 FJ62 in Royal Blue. THe second owner was selling it as it had been a weekend vehicle for his family. He took amazing care of it mechanically with meticulous records going back to 1997. I originally looking for a white FJ, but after seeing this blue in person, I was smitten.
I used to own an FJ Cruiser so I'm looking forward to heading back to the Tillamook Forest, taking it over the Cascades to the high desert, and finding snow in the winter.
Long term plans include an OME lift, some 31" A/Ts, and some interior upgrades. If anyone has any recommendations for LC specialist in the NW, I'd appreciate it.
