finally Donnelly Rear View Mirror Installed!

Thanks to those here who gave me suggestions!

I finally got my donnelly rear view mirror (w/compass; temp; and auto dimming) installed. -Similar to Gentex.

The toughest part was finding an ignition driven wire to tap into.
I went with the cigarette lighter. I initially tried the ign power for the sunrooof but it didnt work for me for some reason...

The kit I bought came with a harness with a wires for Ign power; Ground; and 2 for the temp sensor.

I had to run the temp sensor out to the engine bay to be mounted.

I also used a silicon type adhesive for rear view mirrors from AutoZone. (We'll see how that holds up)

I'll post some pics tomorrow on this. I bought the unit on Ebay for about $110 I believe. I has compass/ temp and auto dimming.

It does display both temp and compass at the same time so you dont have to fumble with the buttons

How has the silicone held up? I tried using silicone and the mirror shook/bounced more than it should so I had to use an epoxy instead.
