Any restoration site or advise to repair white fib. top of my 74 fj
pulling away from driprail in couple of spots>/? may need overhaul
with new weatherstripping /headliner/rivets What do you old pros

By the time the gutter starts to pull away, there will be a lot of hidden rust on it. Water wicks under the fibreglass as soon as the seal fails.

I removed mine completely, wirebrushed the rust off, then treated it. After that, reattached with the correct size aviation rivets using a hand set.
 
I am in the process of rebuilding mine now. I took the entire top apart and drilled out the rivets. The fiberglass had pulled away from the drip rail on both sides.

There was tons of rust hidden inder the fiberglass and sealant. It is way worse than I imagined, but repairable.

I suggest you tear yours down and restore it or you may regret it later.

Same with mine, caught it just in time. Definitly worth addressing correctly since replacement gutters don't come cheap.
