I have a leak in the transmition cooler hose inside the front left fender. Has anyone removed the frender on a LX 450? If so how many bolts do I need to remove? Can I remove the fender without removing the fender molding. Is there any other way to remove the tranny cooler hose?

I did my PHH yesterday and was looking at the cooler lines as well.

Anyway, If you pull your front drivers tire and the rear-most "plastic flap" that attaches to the inner wheel well (fender), I think you should be able to get to the rear two rubber transmission cooler lines that attach to the tranny hard lines. (note: I pulled the transmission dipstick tube and starter to access the PHH and those rear rubber tranny lines are right there. This might be easier than pulling the fender, and since you are in there, the PHH could be serviced)

Hope that helps
