this thought just came to me after watching a show on the latitude challenge. is there enough room b/w th. hood and engine to mount a tire no more thn 9.5" wide. i figured the tire would have to be inset into the hood some...

Why not on top of the hood? That should be a pretty dead spot aerodynamically anyway.

thats too rover styled and impares your vision when wheeling to much.

rover is what i was going for. it'll look a little like a rover (i got the idea from a landrover defender 110), but it'll function ten times better
