fan clutch temp setting? anyone done this? i'm not totally following this offroad80's thread and none of the threads here seem to explain this.
am i 1. loosening the 2 screws, 2. heating it up in the pan, then 3. making sure the holes are "half open" (not sure what that is supposed to look like), and then - well am i 4. rotating something when it is 95 f F with oven mitts on and securing the two screws down tight?
also is there supposed to be oil in it when i set the temp?
the last page here (17) seems to say something about checking the original setting - after setting the screws - that i totally don't understand. also in the next paragraph the guy mentions draining oil again.
