Fan clutch fluid - is this the stuff? (1 Viewer)

I found this in a local hobby shop and just want to confirm that this is the type of silicone fluid used to replace stock fluid. Is it?

yes that is it. And it is labeled in CSTs so that is 10,000cst oil.

This was the heaviest weight available and for Alabama it should work.

I depends on what clutch you are modding. Different clutches perform better with different viscositys

Not to pimp "ToolsRus" again, but he has some good info for modding the clutches. I could not find the correct weight for my factory Eaton clutch so i bought some 10,000 CST and 30,000 CST and got some calculation help on the board here and measured the correct ratio in a large syringe with CC measurements.
