I was under the hood replacing the PS pump recently and noticed that the fan belts seem a little on loose side. They are Toyota OE belts put on around this time last year so they are not new but not overly worn either.
I am going to borrow my neighbors old school belt tensioner to put the right tension on them. What should that be for a set of OE belts that are already worn in. Is the tension the same for the double belts going to the alternator as it is for the A/C compressor?
