Yes I did thank you. I spoke to him. and he knew exactly who i was . Explained what i found. which was two vacuum hoses with tears. and the history of this truck passing smog. gave me some things to do. if it dont pass i will take it to him. I thank you Very much for the #.

Go to Pep Boys and buy a bottle of this stuff called "guarenteed to pass". Run the bottle through a full tank of gas... Then refill the tank with gas... Then, get the car nice and hot, drive it for 20 min. at least... Try to keep it running or hot until the mechanic puts it on the dyno... I have an 01 M3 with 171, 000 miles and the original cats on the front of the headers that are completely blown out. They even light up the "service engine soon light". If I reset the light, then, try to pass smog, it fails on the sniffer. If I run a bottle of "guarenteed to pass" through it, reset the light, it passes every time... Hard to believe, but, I am witness to this stuff actually working... I would not have believed it either, but, it works..

CRC "Guaranteed to pass" works! I used it along with a tune-up and oil change.

Ok i retested today! after replacing two vacuum lines. Vehicle passed at the 15mph test. numbers for no (ppm) dropped by half.
Before,
NO (ppm) meas 1496.
After,NO (PPM) MEAS: 590

failed at 25 mph test
Before NO (PPM) MEAS 1449
After NO(PPM) 642
ANY SUGGESTIONS AT THIS POINT

Ok will try the O2 sensor next. thank you!
