Anyone ever fix the original post issue? @Good Times @reznunt

I've replaced all motors for the door locks and they all work properly when using the interior lock unlock button. I'm having all the exact same symptoms as original post.

For my truck, what fixed all the issues with the door lock/horn/keyfob issues was cleaning the door lock position sensor (off-white color plastic clip that attaches to the back of the driver's door lock tumbler with wires coming off it). I removed and disassembled it, cleaned all the old grease and any dirt/corrosion from the ring contacts and applied new dielectric grease. If I knew what the name/part number was I would've just ordered a new one.

That instantly solved every weird issue I was having with the door locks and it has been working fine ever since. Also, this was after replacing all of the door lock actuators, including the rear hatch.

Okay great to know. Thank you I appreciate it and will definitely try this

@reznunt do you remember how you cleaned the one in the rear hatch? It seems that the wire goes in to the black latch box held on by 4 bolts. I took that out but the wire runs into the latch but which is sealed?

I didn't clean the rear hatch lock sensor. I've only done the driver's door. Just the actuators were replaced in the rest of the doors.

Fixed!! I cleaned the drivers side sensor yesterday and no change. Tried the key in ACC position and sit for a while and also unplug the battery for an hour and still no luck. Had the battery undone all night and day as I was changing coils and heater Ts and when I plugged the battery back in voila everything is back to normal. This was 4 days after the issue started and we have not had any rain in between. Wish I could say I found a solid solution.

Congrats! I usually don't like when things fix themselves without a clear cut reason but I also don't look a gift horse in the mouth!
