The door tag has codes on the bottom "A/TM" refers to axle and transmission an axle code of K294 is electric lockers, K292 is open diffs. If the tag is missing, the vehicle has most likely been wrecked or stolen/recovered.

So, tell us, who told you that?

I guess I need to apoligize. I was not trying to take credit.
IT WAS ALL CRUISERDAN. Sorry if I stepped on some toes. I was just trying to pass on useful information.

    No hard feelings,

I was quoted verbatum without quotes. IIRC the first lister to post about K294/K292 in our group was Paradise Cruiser. Up until that time I always ran the vin to determine the build configuration. Of couse not everyone has the ability to do that. The tag is a quick way for anyone to check. It does not tell you everything a build sheet does, but it is a lot better than a guess.

I thought it sounded familiar and when I saw the dangling participle I was certain the words were C-Dan's.
