Hi guys!
I've just bought a 1994 Landcruiser 80 Series, and was considering options for mounting a winch on my vehicle. I'm living remotely in Australia and thought it might be a good idea to invest in some recovery gear....
I believe I've got the factory aluminum bulbar - which isn't winch compatible - and I was wondering if anyone knows of a winch mounting kit that might work for this setup? I'm trying to come up with a cost effective solution.
I've seen that ECB sells a kit that fits one of their bars - their bar looks so similar I'm almost wondering if I could modify this to work:
Seems it mounts to the chassis rails - thinking I could do something similar and cut a hole in the existing bullbar for the fairlead. Or does anyone have any other ideas for mounting a winch on my setup?
Cheers
Josh
