Finally the lift and tires are done.
Next comes the sliders.

Why not use Frankies shocks?

Frankie had these shocks sitting on the self and gave me a smoking deal on them, can't beat that.
They ride real nice.

Looks nice.

Frankie said it might settle alittle but not much it is really almost 3 1/2".
I was going to put on 35's but the :princess: cannot get the kids into their car seats she hates it.
It is also a DD so I opted for 33's instead. They look alittle small but not to bad.
I am happy with it. Once these tires go then it will be 35's for sure and the kids will be able to climb in by themselves by then.

Nice job braddah. I'm itching to get my lift done. This looks solid.

Frankie told me that the BDS shocks were for a F350 Super Duty project that never happened for some guy. They are the 5000 series and he told me that the valving was within 5% of a shock for a Landcruiser from BDS that plus the price I could not say no. They have worked out great. I have about 1500 miles on them so far and the ride combined with frankies springs is like a cadilac. I love it.
Going from stem shocks to eye to eye shocks is the way to go in my opinion. The rear shocks have about 12" of stroke I almost have to put limit straps on the rear.
35's would be nice but have to keep the:princess: happy ya know.

Sweet. Nice job. Looks great. :D

Roger. congrats on the install.

Do your coil wraps bottom out on either the front or rear axle?

I saw a recent LandTank post that showed Frankie's coil wraps stacked directly on top of one another.

From what I see in your installation pics, this doesn't look the same.

No they do not, the front springs were prototypes that Frankie had on his rig. I too did see Landtanks thread as well. My rear spring tops are a bit closer than the fronts but do not stack. I think they are that way so that the springs can be trimmed or cut to different heights, I think.

Yea, looks like the springs he got are not the newest kit. However, i'm sure they still ride and perform better than OME.

How did you correct caster?

Have not corrected the castor yet.
It seems to drive fine as is for now.
Get a little bit of vibe at around 55 but nothing major.
