F engine rocker assembly oiler question (1 Viewer)

My cylinder head is off my truck tidying up some details. When I removed the rocker towers I noticed the oiler banjo fitting didn’t have a spring clip on the forward side holding the coil spring back.
Can anyone familiar with this head confirm this is the correct orientation of this spring and if there IS or ISN’T a clip here?

Here is what it looked like assembled on my 71.

and that is the top of an original 34k motor that sat in a garage for the last 19 years. Outside looks like crap, but inside, it is perfect.
 
Used ones at SOR although shipping will be way more than the clip.
