I'm re-doing the carb on my '69 FJ40. The PO fashioned a homemade insulator base, so he ran the PCV valve hose to the intake manifold. I'm using a slightly newer carb and the matching insulator base is thinner. I can run the PCV hose to the new insulator tube, but then I need to plug the port in the intake manifold. I'm planning on switching over to disc brakes later, so I suppose I could swap the plug/bolt and the hose port on the intake manifold. Also, very curious, the air cleaner assemble has a second intake port. Any idea what that is for?
