F, 3speed tranny, x-case

    i have an F motor, less than 2,000mi, blow head gasket
    attached to a 3speed tranny. attached to a 3speed case

    the engine and tranny are free and id like to get something for the 3speed case. What ever the going rate is.

    they are out of a 1971 fj40

    Motor still available? Putting a 72 back together in Walnut Creek, motor in it is questionable. Let me know, I'll be around this weekend. Thanks.

    I bought one a while back- in need of a rebuild, and missing the pto cover- I paid $60 for it. Then again, freshly rebuilt cases can go for $200-300... Maybe more. Just depends on the condition of the gears and bearings. And vacuum versus manual shift.
