Cheers,

I have a few questions for the group. First off I have a 96 1HD-FT Auto trans # A442F K295. I live in Northern japan and we were hit with freezing temps and a blizzard. After the gym I did not take time to warm up rig and headed home on my 3 mile drive (dumb but it was freezing from gym). As I left I felt kind of heard a pop and then noticed I could not get the rig over 30kmH and that was with the pedal mashed, additionally when I took my foot off the accelerator i feel a wobble/vibration that was never there (does not feel like its coming from transmission and kind of felt like vacuum/fuel sputter) I was able to get rig home and parked it. Crazy enough a friend here with the exact same rig and engine is having the exact issue. Do you all think its extreme cold related? at first I felt I had a transmission failure or solenoid go out...but with my buddy having the same issue he read possible air in fuel line, bad fuel pump, TPS sensor and maybe glow plugs. My rig starts right up and glow plug light goes dark in less than a second and had zero issues in cold drive to work and from work to gym. My friend did a test letting his rig warm a while and still had issues. My final though is maybe bad diesel that has gone to slush? Any an all tips are appreciated at this point. We are going to talk to the bases diesel guy at lunch and hopefully we will get some more ideas.
