Extend Ebrake Cable(s) (1 Viewer)

I have moved my rear axel back about 10cm. As a result my ebrake cable is not long enough

Any opinions as to whether adding a section of cable with a crimp type fitting like this would be roubust enough to put some loops in the cable for this purpose?

I’m sure that would work. Would you not consider a line lock and use the service brakes as a parking brake?

It’ll work. Just use similar sized cable, appropriately sized ferrule, and a good swaging tool.
