Experienced Mechanic near Charlotte, NC (1 Viewer)

I would like to find a good mechanic around the Charlotte, NC/Rock Hill, SC area that is experienced in correctly tuning the injection pump on my HDJ81. I have installed a Grunter Extreme turbo, intercooler, 3"exhaust, and methanol injection on my Land Cruiser. I turned-up the injection pump and I do get better performance, but I am not satisfied with the black smoke cloud that I get with a little low RPM load, and with taking off from a dead stop.

I am not trying to build a rocket. I simply want my LC to be able to pull my boat up a hill without losing too much speed, and without painting it black with soot....

Any help would be appreciated.

I betcha you are going to be much better served in your search if you talk to diesel performance shop or a Dodge/Cummins dealer.

The IP is basically a Bosch VE6 and that was used in 50 million Dodge trucks.
