experience with Original Keyless? (1 Viewer)

I bought some keyless fobs from them about two weeks ago that have still not arived and they didn't answer their phone today when I called. For those of you have purchased from them before, how long did it take you to get your fobs?

Boy have I been waiting on this thread. Customer service is a joke with these guys. I ordered some fobs from them, all I ever got from them was emails to stall me, never answered the phone and never returned my messages. I let it go over two months and then I disputed the charge with AmEx. About two months later, I got a notification from the Post Office that I had a package from them sent registered mail, I call AmEx and asked them what to do since I had disputed the charge. AmEx had already taken the money back from them, so they said to refuse the package. I refused the package and then Original Keyless showed AmEx where the attempted to deliver the package and charged my AmEx card again. This is all 5 to 6 months since the original order. In the end AmEx took the charge off my card and I did not have to pay for a product I never received, but the crappy thing is, AmEx let Original Keyless keep the money. AmEx said it would spend more money investigating this than the original charge was worth, so they just wrote it off.

Long story short, I would never buy from Original Keyless again. In fact, I don't see how they are still in business.

Sounds like quite the scam...Wait long enough for the buyer to dispute the charge, get notice from the credit card company, ship merchandise registered mail, get buyer to refuse delivery but get credit card company to put charge back on card, then get to keep $$ when credit card company refunds the customer the money and just writes off the loss

Repeat process sending out the same remotes to another unsuspecting victim and voila...

Guess I am not entreprenerial enough to think about it like that, but you could be right.

I hate to give wakesetter the bad news, hopefully his experience will turn out better. I am interested if anyone else has had the same experience.

No experience with Original Keyless myself so I may have thrown them under the bus too early but I have ordered key fobs from a couple other aftermarket places with zero success...Got the fobs ok, they just didn't work.

Now if I need a fob I cruise ebay for used OEM fobs and either overpay or get lucky and score one cheap, depending on the urgency

For the price of 2-3 fobs you could have a brand new Viper alarm/Remote start/keyless entry, with 2 fobs (one is a 2-way fob)... Check my sig for all the info!

Saw the write up, awesome job. But no pink fobs for me. Just a little to Barbie . Plus that looks like a nightmare of a wiring job that I don't want to dive into. I don't need remote start here. The weather is too mild to justify it. I just want to be able to unlock my doors without using the key.

I did get an email from them with the usps tracking number, which does nothing until it has been actually delivered, but the email response is good news. I will keep you posted.

well it showed up today and worked like a charm within 2 minutes. It is definately used, but it works so that is fine. Just think that they should make a statement somewhere that it is not brand new. Maybe they did and I missed it. Overall I am happy with the purchase and would repeat/recomend them.
