Do you guys think athat a 2 1/2 exhaust system is too much for a 2F with a header and weber??? I have a brand new flowmaster that I want to put on it, but right now I have a 2 1/4 exhaust system... WHat to do????

thanks

Ryan

2.5 inch is not too big. Works great.

Yep, but I have to add in a SINGLE exhaust configuration. Doubles are too much IMHO

Yeah thanks Markw and Mace, I forgot to mention it was a single exhaust set up.

thanks

Ryan,

I just ran a new 2-1/2 exhaust on my truck. I like it. I initially used a Flowmaster 50 series, though, and didn't like the sound (too much like a ricer, at times) and it was actually a little longer than I wanted. I swapped out the Flowmaster for a Dynomax and love it. It fits better, sounds better, and was half the price.

Are you in Bremerton? If so, you can stop by and check it out.

Once you get past the collecter, the more flow you let out the better. Not much need for double 2.5, and it means morework to fit. But no performance downside.
