I have an exhaust leak at the manifold. I am running a header and it is not quite sealing all the way toward the radiator. I had already put a new gasket in but did not use a remflex gasket. That was my 1st mistake. Anyway I want to cut some half washers to put behind the bolt to try and get it to seal better. Hoping to make a 1k mile round trip to the outer banks in NC in a couple months. Will a 1/2" washer work or does it even matter since I am going to cut them?
