I know this is a dumb question but, where does the circle exhaust hanger bolt to? I look at the part diagram and can not see what this is suppose to do.

There should be a "L" type bracket at the firewall it clamps on

Ah, when they installed the used motor that must have not been put back on.
I think its the #1 fig below.

Yep, that bracket is not on mine. I have been chasing the AC at idle vibration. Did the motor mounts when the motor was put back in and just finished the exhaust mounts. The vibration is better but still there.
Believe that one is NLA but there is an alternative available. Lots of folks don't re-install when they replace with stock or magnaflow y-pipe. I left it off no problem.
