Needed to replace my LX 450 Exhaust Bushing 17567-17010. Purchased one (1) OEM and one (1) generic Chinese brand.

Differences:
  • Paint on Chinese version is peeling to bare metal.
  • Paint can be removed by rubbing with finger.
  • Small areas of exposed metal.
  • Chinese rubber is more rigid.
If you have the option, go with the OEM. Price for OEM ($14.00) vs generic ($12.00). OEM is worth the price and appears to have a better build quality when compared with generic.

Note: Will these new brackets outlast the car? Maybe, but the generic looks like it won't last more than a few years in Northern climate (salt, snow, water, etc.).

Depends on how they are used. The exhaust sits on them, so when it is put onto the ground, rock, pushes it up breaking any of them.

The OEM ones are better. But in cases where they are likely to be broken in short order, we have been using the BOSAL 255726. At ~$5ea pretty much disposable.
