Did the plugs today-NGK IFR6T11.

All of my Denso's were loose. They had 70K on them.

The only reason they did not walk out was due to all of the baked-on grit on the threads.

Cylinder four was as much fun as the same cylinder on my RR. Visions of striping threads out of aluminum heads on old Porsches.

The old back and forth with WD-40 soaking did the trick. Followed up with brake clean.

16 foot-pound all around.

No valve cover leaks- but needed retorquing.

I broke no plastic bits in the process-- I think I am liking this truck.

Good news. Glad the removal went well and none of them blew out on you.

Now, plan to torque check at least annually (I check at least semiannually).
