    autometer tachs will do that from time to time. when power is applied they read normal

    i wanna buy a 400 that has been free revved to 9 grand.

    I'm sure it was the default position for the guage though.

    Maybe it had a Honda F-1 motor in it. It would be less than halfway to redline. Might suck for rockcrawling.
