engine types ?

i have tried to search for the different engine types but have had no luck. i've been reading thread after thread and am not shure what the difference between them is. i'm new and have little deisel knowledge. my question is, what type of deisel engines will fit into an 88 fj62 and what is the difference between them?

F letter in Toy models means gassser engine .. and H or B means diesel engine. ( well actually K also means diesel as 1KD or 1KZ engines )

Fact your FJ88 have a 3F gasser engine . ? I thought yes .. but if you are asking about diesel engines in 88 you can shoose from a variety of engines .. 2H 12H-T and B engines ..

All the 6 cyl diesels and the the 4 cyl diesel B motors are a suitable swap.
The more you spend on an engine,the more power you should get.
I think the 1HZ and 1HD T are the best allrounders if you can find one.
