Hello everyone,
So my 60's been running greatish for years now thanks to y'all and now I need y'all advice again.

2 days ago I started her up as I always do, pull choke out all the way, pump gas and turn the key. Usually after about 3-5 secs she starts up. All normal.

I lower the choke the to half way point and she starts to die, I give her some gas and the engine responds. But, to keep her running I have to have the choke all the way out or constantly keep the engine rev'd above 2k. Does fine on the highway, but in stop/go traffic I'm constantly restarting her.

Thought it could be clogged fuel filter, so changed that. Didn't help.

Fuel pump is about 7 yrs old, but when I step on the gas the engine revs

Oil's not milky and the level is fine.

Only issues in the last yr was that the top half of the fan shroud (mod'd to make my life easier) lost a bold and dropped onto the fan while I was driving. dinged up the ends of the fan, but still cooling fine.

So, all you cruiser geniuses out there: What's wrong with my Eleanor???

Appreciate any/all advice

Thanks
Patrick

Here is Eleanor and that little guy is Max. I'm planting the cruiser seed early.
