Hello all!
I have come to the conclusion that it is time to replace all of my gaskets on my 68 fj40. The engines serial code is F-250852, if you fine people could help me out and tell me what F engine I have that would be grand.

That sor number list is very incomplete ... your number is very beginning of 68’

I’d say likely about 1/68 or there abouts

What is your build date for your cruiser? Vin?

There is also a casting number on the drivers side of the block towards the back near and above the oil regulator ... that will narrow it down further

thanks, my in is from the first month of 68 by SOR's in dates, so I believe I have found my answer. thank you a ton hopefully this will wrap up easy tomorrow when I start pulling it apart and putting it back together.
