That’s freshly cleaned and painted while torn down.
Short of elbow grease with some love every year, I have no idea how I’ll keep it that clean. Lol

No not really. Just a light pressure wash, if needed some simple green or foamy engine bright. Don’t really need that though cause they don’t leak any fluids. Just takes a little wash to get the dust/mud off.
I wash my engine bay about every 3rd car wash.

Towards the bottom the the engine, I've used cheap degreaser from walmart. Up top I used the foam Simple Green. Let them sit for a min and use a tooth brush for greasy spots. Rinse lightly staying away from the MAF.
Depending on what I'm doing this weekend I might degrease the undercarriage and scrub with a brush. Mine isn't too grimy underneath, but can use some touching up.
I am too self conscious to post a picture of my engine. I know everyone would point out all the problems under my hood and make me hungry for 2nd dinner by lowering my self esteem.

I may be single but the disposable income is questionable. Between school expenses and my mechanophilia, I can hardly afford my shooting addiction. I better be careful, if I don't start taking better care of my significant other (the cruiser) she might feel neglected and leave me one day, leave me stranded that is.

I kinda live a single live. I have a wife and daughter, but they don't need me lol. As long as there is money in the bank to buy them whatever/whenever (they never buy/want anything lol), she doesn't care. Let's me hangout with the homies to wrench, camp, crawl. I always ask her if she wants to come, and she always says noI may be single but the disposable income is questionable. I've always had expensive hobbies. Cars, skydiving, shooting and building guns, "MyWhiteSheep", and when I move to Japan in a few years I think I'm gonna start scuba
After completing the engine removal to do the head gasket and engine harness and a bunch of other maintenance. A thousand miles later and she runs great!
