I remember seeing some really cool engine mounts, the ones made from tubing coming down to a bushing and mounting in a bracket on the frame. Those were super clean.

The round tubular motor mounts look like really good craftsmanship, but they might present the same problem we had years ago with the square tubular mounts. Problem was the Landcruiser frame is hot rivited, and flexes like a piece of wet spaghetti. Frame movements magnified as they moved up the tube, consequently there was way too much movement at the cushions (at the block), and the cushions self destructed. I don't know if anyone has designed around that?????

Try Metal Tech or Proffitts.

I just happened to have the materials laying around the garage and made my own, I still have a gusset to weld on them. My other project has gotten in the way of this one.

Jim, as far as the frame flex and self destruction, time will tell!! Others have done the exact same thing and have had no problems.
