2005 100 series 4.2 diesel.
Same symptoms as another V.V.T 4x4 I had a while back. When under load it lights up the engine management light. I have read thew codes didn't note them down but it was turbo over boosting or under..
So do any of the additives work or am I wasting my time?
Can I remove the turbo de carbon it and pop it back?
Or is new turbo time..?
An idea sprung to mind, when it's off could a hole be drilled and plugged in the turbo housing where the Variable Vanes are so a cleaner could be injected straight onto them for future for seen problems.??
And lastly how long to remove the turbo unit..?
