My bj6o 3b started making a new sound when reaching 1800-2000rpm in 1st and 2nd gear doesn't seem to do it in 3rd 0r 4th. Sound kind of like when you shake a spray paint can when the ball clangs around. Any ideas what might cause that? If you rev the engine out of gear it sounds normal. Thanks for the help

If you can give us more details such as pinpointing the source of the noise we might be able to give you more help. Does it do it under load/up hills worse etc.
Sounds like it could be a tranny issue, though I can't imagine a tranny making that kind of noise and not having other symptoms. Maybe a loose mount? But since iit is happening when the vehicle is moving it could be any number of running gear issues.
