...to make a rebar catalytic converter cage. My DD was hit by thieves last night and I'm worried they will return again soon for the easier 80 cat.
Doesn't have to be pretty, just solid and secure.
I can get the rebar (I think) and can compensate for the time and expertise.
Yuge thanks in advance!

If they are going to cut off the cat, they could probably get thru some rebar.

Sleep in the back with a shot gun. It will be fun.

Well right, but it's about initial deterrant and lengthening the amount of time (and noise) it would take to get it off.

That would work in Utah.
In CO, it's becoming illegal increasingly problematic to defend yourself or your property.
Just one reason I'm eyeing your neck of the woods. 👀

And for fellow CO residents, my calling around to exhaust shops in the Springs area revealed they have been swamped with cat replacements due to theft. I called 4 shops. All of them stated between 15 and 20 stolen cat replacements per week for the last 3 weeks.
As a result, they are booked for weeks and many of the cats they need to install are back ordered nationwide.

Just wanted to update this by thanking @ExpoMax for hooking me up with the cage. It looks great and should serve the purpose well. Huge thanks @ExpoMax. 👍
