In need of advice.

Replaced master clutch cylinder yesterday. '80 fj fires up everytime with no hassle. After changing master - nada. Ignition turns - all needles seem to be working, flashers, lights etc but no contact, no fire no nothing (?)

one day to the next ignition / starter caput ? Hard to believe. No clicking sounds to starter nothing as if no contact past the fire wall.......

Pleased to hear

you can also test your clutch switch (if you have one) by holding the key to start, and then depressing the clutch pedal. You should hear a "click" from the solenoid. If you don't, your issue is upstream of that switch (ignition, battery, wires between them, or the solenoid itself, maybe the clutch switch).
