Electrical problem I think (1 Viewer)

My FJ would not start today. Last weekend, I changed the E-brake and steering coupler and then drove it out of the garage and parked it. I was on travel this week and when I got back it turned over but wouldn't start.

Today, I checked that the accelerator pump was working and cleaned the plugs. When I turned the key, nothing.

What I know: there is 12v at the top 3 fuzes of the box; the lights don't work; the flasher clicks but no lights when the key is on; with the key off if just buzzes; the seat belt buzzer does sound.

What should I check next?

Make sure that the battery is charged and try again. Report back.

Did you try jump starting it? 12v is not an indication that it's got a good enough battery to start it. Measure the 12v while you're trying to crank it.

Well, Occam's razor cuts deep.
I cleaned the posts and lugs and jumped to another battery. It didn't start but made noises like it needs a new battery. I'll get that and it should be fine, thanks guys.
