Hi guys,
I'm looking for a UZJ100.
Thanks for all the knowledge I've found here
But, reading 100's carfax reliability report, I learn that there are some occasional problems caused by the Electrical Junction Block or Charcoal Canister Evaporative Solenoids .
Does anybody know something about that ?

Wouaw !
Big success for my question ! :D

Did I wrote silly things ?

I would help you, but I do not know anything about the issue. A search for "charcoal canister" in this forum yielded a lot of threads though that you might want to check out.

So, select search, then advanced search, select the 100 series thread and search for "charcoal canister". That might help you find something relevant.

Only problem I've heard of w/ the junction block is on certain years, there were metal shavings leftover from manufacturing that might short out a signal. The solution is to blast it out w/ compressed air. I know it only happened on the LX for a single year ('00?), don't know about the LC.

Thanx Men !

I've tried the advanced search, but without any pertinent results... (but maybe I've misunderstood)

Anyway... so much few answers means that I can file this as "never mind"

few days before our landing in San Francisco... and the UZJ hunt start :bounce:
