Electric body sander recommendations? (1 Viewer)

I'm prepping a vehicle for paint and am shopping for a good DA sander. The reviews are all over the place, which makes them essentially worthless. I'll strictly be using it for this one project, and the local body shop supply place says a 6" is best but I dunno.

MOst people will prob say use an air powered DA but for those of us who dont have that luxury...electric it is. I have a porter cable 6". Lowes.

I used a Rigid random orbit sander #r26001 from Home Depot. $69.99 Worked great for me!

I use a porter cable also ... you can get different pad sizes for it also which is nice.
Then later, use it to wax/polish, even clay bar ... Yea, clay bar with a porter cable vs hand ...

Thats what I use.
