Taking my truck back to NA while I sort out a turbo solution to my blown CT20. I already have a pyro hooked up so it seems like a good chance to observe the NA egt data rather than have it dangle in the engine bay useless.

Wondering where folks would recommend putting the probe? The aftermarket headers I have don’t come together until pretty far back and it seems like a lot of the heat would be lost at that point. Is it worth measuring the junction of two cylinders? Just one where it exits the head? Is it even worth it?

Closest to the exhaust port as possible and have it in the same location when you put the turbo back on. Mine is 25mm from the side of the head. Most accurate reading you can get
