does anyone have any tips on opening this harness before i clamber up on my plank and start poking it hard with small screwdrivers.
also, is this the portion of the harness (image 3) that i saw somewhere in the FAQ needs to be additionally wrapped? and if so does it look like this one waS already taken care of? or should i do something here?
THANK YOU

to pull plug, squeeze the latch where the arrow indicates.

that's the shift down cable, not the wiring harness.

That's the main wiring harness and from the darkness of the wrap I'd guess it hasn't been redone, or at least no in the last few years.
